On Monday morning the Cancer Care Centre commenced the treatment of cancer using radiation therapy and all went well. Many were pleased with the 10 mintue travel time for treatment instead of the 1 hour and 10 minutes to Wollongong.
Thus culminates the journey many took to bring this aspect of cancer treatment to our area. It was a long journey made shorter by the quality and compassion of the people who met on the way.
